The Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge closes on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

The Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge Detour begins over 1-95 and Columbus Boulevard closes on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, for construction of the new covered section of 1-95 between Chestnut and Walnut streets that includes improved pedestrian access between Center City and the Waterfront.
